ERAZALASER College delivers this Infection Prevention Course, a Nationally Accredited Course, in conjunction with our Registered Training Organisation partner, Career Training Institute of Australia RTO No: 6517. As mandated by state and Council legislation, this course is a prerequisite for those wanting to work in the following occupations:

This nationally accredited course outlines the skills and knowledge required for personnel to comply with infection control regulations, standards, guidelines, policies and procedures. The course enables students to identify, manage and control infection risks to clients, operators and themselves in accordance with the Public Health (Infection Control for Personal Appearance Services) Regulation 2016.
Students learn about infection prevention practices and risk reduction measures. You learn how to: monitor and maintain cleanliness, clean and sterilize equipment, maintain personal protection and how to review compliance with state and local council requirements.
Infection Prevention Course Online
The infection prevention course is delivered online self-paced or can be completed face to face at one of our tattoo removal clinics. The course gives a comprehensive overview of infection prevention in the workplace including:
♦ Introduction to Cross Infection Control
♦ Sanitation and Sterilisation Protocols
♦ Waste Handling and Disposal
♦ Monitoring Hygiene of Premises
♦ Auditing for Regulatory Requirements
♦ Plus Videos of the Essential Procedures
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
You might be able to reduce the study time it takes to get your Infection Prevention qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) . RPL is all about the skills and knowledge you’ve collected through work and life experiences and then transferring them to current training course requirements.
Recognition of Prior Learning is an assessment process that involves the assessment of your relevant prior learning (including formal, informal and non-formal learning).
Erazalaser College through its partner RTO, will undertake an assessment of your application for RPL to determine the extent to which your previous learning is equivalent to the learning outcomes of the components of the Infection Prevention qualification.
